Fragrances and Flavours Association of India (FAFAI), is an all India apex body of 800 members in the field of Fragrances, Flavours, Aroma chemicals, Naturals and its ancillaries. In a span of 60 years it has grown into a National Association to incorporate manufacturers and dealers in Flavours and Fragrance Industry, Aroma Chemicals, Natural Essential Oils as well as related allied fields. FAFAI is unique platform that covers not only the fields of Fragrances and Flavours but also Essential oils, Aroma Chemicals, Resinoids, Oleo-resins, Concretes and Absolutes, Spice Extracts etc.
Fragrance & Flavour Development Centre (FFDC), Kannauj
Fragrance & Flavour Development Centre (FFDC) has been set-up in the year 1991 by Ministry of MSME, Government of India with the assistance of UNDP / UNIDO and Government of Uttar Pradesh. FFDC aims to serve as an interface between essential oil, fragrance and flavour industry and the R & D institutions both in the field of agro technology and chemical technology. Main objective of the Centre is to serve, sustain and upgrade the status of farmers and industry engaged in the aromatic cultivation and its processing, so as to make them both in local and global market.
Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu
IIIM is a national institute of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of India, with primary focus of research on drug discovery from natural products (medicinal plants and microbial species). IIIM is a multidisciplinary organization encompassing the natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, Biotechnology and botanical sciences. Lavender, rose, Jammu monarda and many exotic aromatic species are being cultivated in Kashmir (and Jammu) with the initiative of Institute.

It is a frontier plant research laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) with Headquarters at Lucknow with its Research Centers located at Pantnagar, Begeshwar (Uttrakhand), Bangalore & Hyderabad. While conserving the plant genetic resources and undertaking research work in plant science, CIMAP is equipping the Nation with high tech agriculture linked to industrial processing of medicinal and aromatic plants.

Centre for Aromatic Plants (CAP) situated at Selaqui, Dehradun (Uttrakhand) is a successful model for commercialization of aromatic plants which incorporates training, extension, processing, buy back, research & development, all together under one roof, for developing aromatic crops in Uttrakhand. Then development of many aromatic crops such as, damask rose, lemongrass, chamomile, cinnamon, and many Himalayan wild growing species, is exemplary.
About All India Agarbathi Manufacturers Association (AIAMA), Bengaluru
Established in the year 1949 as MOMA (Mysore Oodabathi Manufacturers’ Association) by seven founding members, AIAMA has been working tirelessly towards encouraging the growth of Agarbathi industry and allied products in India. In 1982, with increased interest and participation of manufacturers from other Indian states, MOMA was renamed to ‘All India Agarbathi Manufacturers Association’ (AIAMA). With head office in Bengaluru, at present more than 700 Agarbathi manufacturers across India are life members with AIAMA.
